AES Cores

Choose the most efficient core for your application from a range of AES cores with different gate-count / speed combinations.

JetAES – Fast Core

The AES core has the best high speed / gate count combination and is targeted for fast data rate and lowest latency applications. It is compliant with NIST Advanced Encryption Standard (FIPS-197) with hardware key expansion and supports all AES key sizes. The core utilizes 128-bit internal datapath for encryption to deliver multi-giga bit per second throughput.

This core, the fastest AES core of the family, is targeted for ultra high data rate applications. This core is targeted for high data rate XTS-AES mode (XEX-based Tweaked codeBook mode with ciphertext Stealing) of AES operation for IEEE P1619-draft-based hard disk encryption applications. The IEEE draft replaces the previous draft LRW-AES (Lislov, Rivest and Wagner) mode.
