Export Licensing

Jetstream Media Technologies’ security products are subject to the export control under the United States Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) (www.bis.doc.gov).  BIS of the U.S. Department of Commerce administers export and re-export controls on commercial encryption products. Rules governing exports and re-exports of encryption items are found in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (http://www.access.gpo.gov/bis/index.html), 15 C.F.R.  Parts 730-774. Sections 740.13, 740.17 and 742.15 of the EAR are the principal references for the export and re-export of encryption items.

We recommend that you check with your own legal consultant when attempting to export. The export licensing process is specified on the official U.S. government Commerce Department Export Controls site (http://www.bis.doc.gov/licensing/exportingbasics.htm).  Note that not just an American-made IP core, but the foreign-made products based on the core might be subject to the US export licensing.  Jetstream Media Technologies security products may not be exported to embargoed countries nor to denied parties/affiliates without an export license.
